It is time to make another Elvenar tutorial video – this time, we’re starting a new series on fighting in different tournaments, and we will start with the Scrolls tournament. And then there are going to be the other ones ;)

Fighting in Elvenar is highly specific to individual city – stage of development, troops unlocked and available, Ancient Wonder levels, temporary / evolving building boosts and so on. So it is practically impossible to make a generic advice on specific matchups, but here we will focus on relatively average end-game city (chapter 16). Even if that’s not you, you can still get some ideas on how to approach different matchups, measure your own performance there and pick the ones that work best.

Hopefully it will be useful for some of you or your friends ;)

Hmmm - depending on the impact of the upcoming proposed tournament changes, it may be best to evaluate the time you are spending on these tutorials. I wonder if switching to more a our type of troop versus their type of troop would be more beneficial? If they are going to randomize troops in all tournaments these may end up being mothballed. But I enjoy them and as with all you do thank you so much for putting in the time to coordinate this :)

One thing I know will happen is that with extra chests there will once again be a shakeup in Fellowships like I predicted with the spire. It appears INNO wants to make the tournament harder for those that spent cash building buildings and expansions to make tournaments easier and they want to make it easier for those folks who haven't invested a nickel (10 pfennig) in the game. Let's punish folks who invested in the game. Not a good business model.

Yeah, these will likely need to be revised. But the changes haven't even hit Beta yet, so a lot of things might be different when (if) it finally gets on live. We'll see. At least the Spire tutorials probably going to be valid for some time ;)

This only happened twice in the history of elvenar, a mayor revision / reverting back is what I am pointing at. and that's what this needs.

While there are likely to be some changes to the tournaments as tested on Beta, who knows when or in which shape or form these are going to hit live. In the meantime, at least I am still playing existing tournaments so figured I may just hit the record button. This is for existing tournaments, NOT for the proposed changes.
