Types of enemies by tournament type

Every tournament type has a predominant enemy unit type. For example scrolls has mainly light range and secondly mages. But, has anyone noticed if this is still current? In this last tournament I have noticed lots of light range and light melee.
Thanks

@Torcuato they changed the tournaments some time ago (I think more than a year?) so that there is more of a mix of enemy troop types across all tournaments. This also applies to the goods used to cater, which now have more of a variety. Each tournament will still *tend* to have more of a specific troop type than others, but there will be a greater mix of troops within any individual tournament.

The problem with that guide as well as many of the ones on other sites (all done by players, including the one here in the forums) became outdated with the most recent changes in the tourney structure in the Fall 2020. You will now only face 5 stacks of enemy troops and it is possible to encounter one of each enemy unit type in any tourney battle. There is a higher likelihood of certain enemy troops in specific tourneys. While they never published any specifics, it has been determined that the enemy units more likely to appear in each tourney by type are:
Marble: Heavy Melee
Steel: Mage
Planks: Light Range
Crystal: Mage & Heavy Ranged
Scroll: Light Ranged & Heavy Ranged
Silk: Light Melee & Heavy Melee
Elixir: Light Range, Light Melee & Heavy Melee
Magic Dust: Light Melee, Mage & Heavy Ranged
Gems: Light Melee, Heavy Ranged & Heavy Melee

Thank you sami. I am aware of the changes on the tournament. I did not know those changes affected the troops as well. Still according to your notes seem pretty similar to the chart above. Still, lots of light melee and still won't be the easy one anymore.

I like this way to remember so much better on my training

They are very similar to the primary units from the old tourneys. You can see the primary unit(s) you'll need to bring to handle the likeliest enemies. The biggest difference is the enemy counter units are no longer standardized, making it hard to set up a guide with the info on which units to pick for your secondary units.
Ex: Marble: Heavy Melee
Depending on if you're elf or human and how far along in chapters you are, you know you're going to use either light range or mages for your primary unit. If your best unit is Blossom Mage, you can go in with 5 of them if the enemy counter unit is heavy range. Mages won't be as good a choice if the enemy counter unit(s) are light range (esp Mist Walkers) or enemy dogs. This is different for each player each battle and makes the creation of a current detailed guide difficult.
