Got this banner but there doesn't seem to be information about what the updating soon is for.

YES! a no-warning update, happening right now! Had just logged into my 4 cities, finally early enough to reset all my 24-hr buildings, argh.
Came here to read about it, but NOTHING. I checked last night as well, before bed.

Beta has had that for a long time now. Up on top of the game screen, right? It seems that any time the server is getting any kind of update, that message appears, not just when a change in version happens. It is just a warning that you will be kicked out of the game when the update starts, if you do not log out first. I have never been on a Live server when it happens, so I do not know how long they have also gotten this message.

If you look at the version number when you log in, it will say 1.144.x, where the X is how many times there has been a server-side update since the main version update that came from the app store. Even those small updates, which we never get info on, require everyone to be logged off of a server when they happen.
