Upgrading builders building

I can not upgrade my builders building past level two and I do not know why. The only option given is to use diamonds.

Unfortunately Diamonds ARE the only option. There are several of us who think that gating the Builder, with only diamonds, is unwise.

And the only way to get diamonds is to buy them. Right?

So far, yeah, but in other InnoGames products the various special events usually generate a few diamonds.
