Useful Ancient Wonders

SoggyShorts

Mathematician par Excellence
Personally I think SoggyShorts is one of the most useful, but he's probably just a middle-aged wonder rather than an ancient one.
Hmm.. "middle-aged" means half way... so I will become twice the wonder?

Edit:
Hang on a sec... Here I was thinking Ashrem meant this:
wonder
adjective
Definition of wonder (Entry 3 of 4)
: WONDROUS, WONDERFUL: such as
a : exciting amazement or admirationwonder toys
b : effective or efficient far beyond anything previously known or anticipated

But it appears that there is more than one definition:

wonder
noun
won· der | \ˈwən-dər \
Definition of wonder
(Entry 1 of 4)

1a: a cause of astonishment or admiration : MARVEL
"it's a wonder you weren't killed"<---this? Yeah..that actually fits.;)

I may be projecting
but I took Ash's comment as
"I wonder what the great oogly moogly that old fart is on about now."

Euphemisms do have a way of inverting meanings. Calling someone special could mean that they are unique and skilled, or it could mean that they are disabled. Calling someone an artifact could mean that they are an untapped treasure trove, or it could mean that they are unable to cope with the present. Dictionaries generally do not include euphemisms given the wide variety of their meanings.

I generally try to place a "value" on culture/pop buildings of 2Xpop + culture. The major downside of culture/pop versus res is that they are hard to remove if you are tight on both. You need a better replacement.
With restoration spells, that problem will be lessened unless you need all your spells for magic res and workshops.
