this is my first time to attempt this extra gameplay. Is it normal to complete all the extra quests for more snowflakes, before the time frame for the game ends? 48 plus hours left and seemingly completed all the extra quests. How am I supposed to gather enough token snowflakes if there are no more quests? What is up with this?

I finished early and I did not use any guides. I bought snowflakes with diamonds. Sheer impatience. What is there to know? What did you mean when you said emerald wizard64 probably did not know what they had done? Is there a strategy? I like to learn so I'm just asking.

I was short snow flakes only 2-3 cookies needed to complete the last for the end prize. When I chose the very last item to take it to the end it didn't apply all the cookies and left me short of the goal. buying is not possible since I only need 2-4 to complete.. I don't think Id make a purchase anyway since these games really don't last forever..I have diamonds but can not even use those to buy the little bit needed to carry it across the line even tho I feel buying into it is cheating. there should have been 1 last quest just seems lacking 2 - 4 cookies to complete this made it a waste of time by not being able to collect the last 1 because of not enough snow flakes...

Generally the third grand prize is only available 2 ways. 1. paying money (either buying delicacies or buying the event building that gave you more snowflakes), or 2. spending most, if not all, of your snowflakes on double-days. And that also assumes that you're generally picking the box that gives the most delicacies per snowflake.

Its a trade-off. You can get the third grand prize, which is usually really great. But you might not be able to get all the daily prizes you want.

I know it can be easy to feel this way, but it wasn't a waste. You probably got a ton of great buildings, instants, and set buildings that will help your city. Be proud, and now in the next event you'll know more of what to expect.

I can say for certain that Lady Luck plays a big part in this. I got the 3 grand prize buildings. I generally picked the box with the least snowflakes needed, but I did save up and use them mostly on double days. On the non double days where I wanted the daily prize I still chose the cheap spin. It was successful more often than it was not. Bottom line - I'm saving for a trip to Vegas :p
