No Brin. I am not on the Dev team, this is what we have, as a direct result of someone asking, why can we use Spell Frags to get CCs, but not spend CCs to get Spell Frags - on Discord, which is the primary route for feedback.

Oh Wise One
why aren't these new craftings, inline with the (2) currently
available where you pay SF for CCs ????

I believe its 5000 SF -> 8 CCs and ??? SF -> 1 CC.....
So why does it cost 12 CCs for the same 5000 SFs ????
( scratches head )
The Vision Vaper given is different. In the old, existing recipe you can pay 5000 spell fragments. And in return you get 8 CCs and 1 VV. In this new recipe, you pay 12 CCs. In return you get 5000 SF and 8 VV. Basically, the exchange rate of spell fragments to CCs is not as good, but you are getting 7 additional VV.

Selling Ancient Wonders

When selling an Ancient Wonder you'll now earn 1 Royal Restoration (RR) and 2 Combining Catalysts (CC) per level of your Ancient Wonder. We have seen your feedback about getting something back from Ancient Wonders you no longer need, and we are now adding this option. This change is set to roll out on the Beta server this Wednesday and will be available everywhere with the next game version, next week.

Mobile Beta Note: Text Glitch Alert!

On Beta this week, if you play on Mobile, you might still encounter an outdated warning message stating you won't receive anything when selling an Ancient Wonder. Fear not! This is just a text glitch, and refunds will work as explained above. When you will download the next mobile version, next week, this temporary hiccup will be fixed.

Diamonds for missing Royal Restorations

Starting from this Wednesday on Beta (on all servers from next week with the next version), missing Royal Restorations in build and upgrade costs can now be replaced with Diamonds. Previously, crafting Royal Restorations in the Magic Academy was the sole option to get them by using Diamonds. We are adding this direct option for your convenience after having seen some of you have asked for it last week. Crafting at the Magic Academy remains the cheapest way to access additional RR with Diamonds. Now you simply have a more direct way, available on demand, also for smaller quantities where you don't need to spend additional Spell Fragments or take up a crafting slot. As always, you can leave your thoughts and comments in the thread:

This phrase seems to indicate that the developers do not yet realize the advantage that elves have in selling 1x1 flower cages from the culture tab. 1 RR for 26 diamonds is a better deal than crafting.
Normally I would ask you to take this down before the devs could see it. However: they no longer come here, so you are ok. I do hope you have not talked about this on Discord. They might see it there...

But they did this to improve the ancient wonders, not as a money grab!

Hi everyone!

New recipes and portraits.

There are 3 new recipes, that can appear in crafting:
  • 6 CC → 2500 SF + 3 VV
  • 12 CC → 5000 SF + 8 VV
  • 16 CC → 8000 SF + 5 VV
[MOD EDIT] FYI these are showing up in "slot #3"
I've done the math and these new recipes are going to be worthwhile. In fact, they are going to be a better deal than disenchanting. Any 3x4 (or 4x3) size building will disenchant for 720 spell fragments if it is in your inventory. However, if you sell it while in your city then you get 3 combining catalysts. If you disenchant 2 buildings of this size, you end up with 1440 spell fragments. If you put them in your city and sell them, you get 6 CCs. You can then turn these into 2500 spell fragments and 3 vision vaper.

edit: for a 3x3 building, they will disenchant for 540 SF. They sell for 2 CCs. So if you disenchant 3 of this size building you get 1560 SF. If you sell the 3 of them for CCs, you can turn those 6 CCs into 2500 SF and 3 VV. 2x4 size buildings disenchant for 480 SF and sell for 2 CCs. Once again, at this size the magic academy recipe is more efficient.

For event buildings, those larger than 20 squares (e.g. 4x6, 6x4, and 5x5) produce more SF from disenchanting than selling for CC and using the recipe. The number of CC (or RR) produced in the sale of a building is based on its size. 1 CC for 4 squares or less; 2 CC for 5-9 squares; and 3CC for 10 or more squares. In all cases for event buildings, it is only the sizes greater than 20 squares which work out in favor of disenchanting.

Hi everyone! We have a new Event coming up!

Blessing of the Phoenix - On Beta from February 14th

In the heart of the desert, under the scorching sun, the Folk of Zaharim prepare for their most cherished event - the Blossoming of the Verdant Phoenix. As the day approaches, a young Zaharim herbalist stumbles upon a curious, vibrant green cactus unlike any other. She notices its peculiar, pulsating glow and feels an unexplainable energy emanating from it. Word spreads quickly through the Zaharim camp, igniting a mix of excitement and apprehension. The night before the Blossoming, the entire Folk of Zaharim gather around the mysterious cactus, which now stands tall and radiant under the starlit sky. As they watch in awe, the cactus begins to transform, revealing the magnificent Verdant Phoenix, its feathers a tapestry of lush greens and vibrant hues. However, the appearance of the Phoenix is just the beginning. The Zaharim soon discover that wherever the Phoenix flies, it leaves a trail of lush, blooming flora in the barren sands, turning parts of the desert into temporary oases. But with this sudden burst of life comes a challenge – the oases attract various desert creatures, some friendly, others not so much. As the Folk of Zaharim navigate this new bounty, they must balance their excitement with caution. Will they harness the blessings of the Verdant Phoenix to thrive, or will the sudden abundance prove too overwhelming for their desert haven? Join the event to find out and be part of the unfolding story of the Zaharim and the majestic Verdant Phoenix.

Main Prize: Verdant Phoenix with new pet effect!

The new pet effect provides another means to get season petals. While active, Season Daily Chest gives additional petals. The main building produces Culture, Population, Rangers, Unurium, Mana, and Knowledge Points, depending on the chapter.

New Garden is coming!

You will be able to acquire the beautiful Garden of Tales and Thorns buildings that produce Culture and Population. This event will also feature the Leagues system and the Royal Prize Pass. We're happy to hear your feedback in the dedicated channel blessing-of-the-phoenix . Bugs can be reported in the [link removed] as always! Thank you for your help and interest in beta Kind regards, Your Elvenar Team (edited)

Just a note that this is a switchable production. All resources offered are in high quantities because of this, however, because the pet has a feeding effect, it does not combo with the Light House of Good Neighborhood.

Your point is worth keeping in mind in the rare occasions when there is a building of such large size available as a prize.

There are not many of these however. In fact, there is not a single daily prize building of the size you are talking about in the current event. I also just looked back at the list of daily prizes from last yeat's Winter Magic, Whispers of the Soul, Gateway to the Past, and Autumn Zodiac. None of these events had a building of this size either. So for the vast majority of buildings players will win, it is better to convert them to CCs rather than disenchanting.

Yeah, it is a much shorter list for all the buildings that qualify than for all the events that don't have a building that qualifies.

Did Beta have a fellowship adventure between the end of the Tournament of Magic event and the upcoming Phoenix event?

Not from what I have seen. I think the standard pattern is two events followed by an FA. The timing of Halloween is likely what broke that pattern causing three events an FA one event another FA.

Nope. The Adventures need to be rebalanced, and we had a hint that might be happening, from...

All of you who are avoiding Discord are missing the opportunity to meet Manfred. He's an original player and long time Inno employee, also the CM for the French server. I mean, what's not to like?
