are Banshees good troops

I just unlocked the banshee in chtp 5 i am a human and i train priests and paladins in my barracks and dryads in my training grounds i get orc strategists and frogs from my withces hut and GoToS. Should i start training banshees instead of preists?

Instead? No. Priests are far superior to any troop in this class with the possible exception of a 3 star Blossom Mage. But you could train a few to use as backup when your priests run low.

ok thanks i just realized that i also have VVs which are just as good as the banshees against heavy ranged so i don't really need them.
