What I noticed in all of these events is that the league I am in going into the last couple of days is where I stay. I don't see any real mass movement at the end that I thought might happen. I see this as a useless thread.
More likely, it's simply because we haven't yet had an event that has a really good main building that most players will want multiples of,
combined with 2-3 outstanding daily specials!
Sure we had the Sorc's set, but that was kinda moot since the prize rotation was such that to get multiples to work properly, you basically automatically shot yourself in Gold League...
I'd expect to see more late-event league changing if/when we get a building like say, last year's Witch's Hut where plenty of people wanted the 2nd Lv.1 base building, but didn't want/need to go whole-hog on the extra artifacts to make it fully worthwhile... (and extra 1 or 2 artifacts in the event, plus the 2 from the FA was enough to make a 2nd WH pretty decent!)
Will also be interesting if we ever get another really strong daily special building, which especially if it appears in the latter half of the event, can lead to big League swings as more players drop 1000's of currency to load up.
Halloween Leagues should potentially be at least a bit more swingy, since scores will rely far more on actual skill at the mini game vs. sheer dumb luck gaining bonus currencies from chests.
Hence why I'd personally love to see one of either the St. Paddy's Day or Wildlife mini games ported over here as well! 2-3 skill based leagues/year would be a nice balance vs. the 5-6 'dumb luck' leagues.
