The ability to clear all buildings at once so one can completely redesign their city would be awesome.

There are numerous threads on this topic, and just as many reasons as to why this won't be implemented. Search through the forums first, they are brimming with information and answers.

Yeah. Searching through the forums to find the particular nugget of information that you are looking for is not as simple as you make it out to be.

I took "clear all buildings" to mean sell everything that can be sold with no questions about being full on coins or supplies. I am all for that.
