Does the coin icon change when the revenue from the Residence is 95 to 100% full? If not, it should

I don't mind notice that some coins are available, but a definitive sign at 100% would tell me what I can ignore.

I should clarify... bobbing coins annoy me. I feel I should be getting a notification only if production is stalled, just like with all the other buildings. Being able to collect doesn't necessarily have to be tied to bobbing coins.
