We would like to let you know that Fairies are tenativly due to be released on Wednesday with our next update!!
Fairies are visiting your city!
New visitors requiring your assistance showed up at your city's gates with our next update: the Fairies need some help re-establishing their once great, and nature-oriented culture. The Fairies have immense knowledge of nature and will bring you new production techniques, which you will need to use to help restore the Fairy race to its former glory. They are not the best of friends with the Dwarves, though, so you will need to make sure that the Dwarves can stand on their own feet again before you start helping the Fairies, or the Fairy Queen may not be so pleased... if you don't, you may have to find a way to combine the strengths of the Dwarves and the Fairies. Once their numbers have increased a bit, the Fairies will be able to introduce you to eight new Goods that they can produce for you using mainly coins, supplies and Crafted Goods. You will need these new Goods to help research more the more advanced Fairy buildings.
Much like the Dwarves, the Fairies will enter your city via a special Portal. The Portal is also used to store the Fairies' Goods. The Fairy Manufactories will have to be connected to the Fairy Portal before you can start producing Goods with them.
The Fairies have knowledge of two manufactories that can help your city. If you help the Fairies grow enough, they will show you the secret to farming and the benefits it can bring your city. In the two new manufactories, you can choose which items you wish to produce: four items per manufactory. You will find that you will need different resources to farm these new Goods. In the example image below, you will see that you need Fireflies to produce Ambrosia. Fireflies can be produced in the Night Farm, or you can buy the missing ones you need for an Ambrosia production with Diamonds.
Of course there are a lot more things that we can still learn from and about the Fairies, and more Fairy-related content will come with future updates. On our Wiki (click), more detailed information can be found about the features that are currently in-game. We are of course looking forward to your feedback regarding this new race.
