Can you move knowledge points from one branch inside the research center to another branch after they have already been placed?

But since you'll wind up researching everything anyway (unless you just decide not to get the few optional city expansions/battle squad expansions) a mistake shouldn't make much difference in the long run. Don't sweat it.
