We believe our leader has jumped ship and left her town and us. My question is how can we as a group recruit new members and find out if our leader has really left. She has been gone for 2 month and has not shown.

Post an in-game support ticket. The Game Moderators can usually work some appropriate magic if everything checks out.

Especially if the Archmage has checked out.
