Making a lesser time production of products

For the workshops you have lower time frames to produce. I would like to see this carried over to manufactories. Maybe not as low as 5 minutes but 30 and 1 hour would be nice.

To answer your question directly, we have three different types of cycle times, and it's undoubtedly intentional.
  • Coins may be collected once the residence has reached the 10% point in the current cycle, and the reset is automatic
  • Supplies may only be collected at the end of a cycle, and the cycles run from 5 minutes to 1 day
  • Goods may only be collected at the end of a cycle, and the cycles run from 3 hours to 2 days

The OP is not asking about spell details or the types of production cycle durations. They are just making a suggestion to have shorter production cycle durations on manufactories like we do with workshops.

The way you've said this implies that the stacking increases the production when it does not, but it increases the time, so 20 hours instead of 10 hours...
