Bug description: Quest say: "upgarde 2 buildings", i do it and nothing happend, its still 0/2

I have the same issue with the Better Buildings quest on my Mac, running Opera 28.0.1750.51 - playing on world 1 as an elf.

If the text is accurate - that upgrading ANY two buildings fulfills the quest, then there's a program bug - I've upgraded more than two various buildings and am also still 0/2. Otherwise, if the quest is actually to upgrade two residences to level 4 (for instance), then the text needs to be updated to reflect the actual requirement to fulfill the quest.

AND to me also ...the same issue ...Just upgraded a residence to level 3 and nothing happening in that quest .... I vaguely remember the same issue being on the beta too and I do think that we have to upgrade residences above level 5 ...this issue was already raised many times over there and it still comes on to the live server ...But I maybe wrong and that might be a different quest altogether ...

EDIT: Just found out from the beta ...You have to upgrade your residences above level 3 for the quest to complete... hope this info helps all those who are stuck on this quest ...

I think so ... I am just upgrading residences to level 4 ...so can only confirm after its done and thats after 3 hrs from now

I have a question now... for example right now i upgraded like 10+ buildings so if this bug will be fixed i will automaticaly done quest or i will need to upgrade another 2 buildings? Same with another future quests ingame like "upgrade x buildings", it will count my upgraded stuff or i will need to do this on another building?

This is an optional quest, so it should only "complete" while it is active. It is advisable to simply decline this quest and proceed along the other optional quests. These are looping quests, so you will likely encounter the quest again. Until the update is implemented by the developers, you should simply decline the quest as there is no immediate or obvious solution available.

Well Its confirmed that you need to upgrade your residence to level 4 for this quest to complete ...Just had mine completed ..... It is not a bug per say but more like an incomplete text ... the quest should have mentioned clearly to upgrade residences to level 4 to avoid all & any confusion ... This is very much the same error as in the Beta which was reported long long time back and nothing was done about it ....

This quest starts looping well before anyone is able to make level 4 residences. (My first instance I was well over 40+ research away from even having that as an option) Hard to say which is the real issue - the text or the actual quest in general - but either way, it'll be fixed with the next update

These are looping quests, so you will likely encounter the quest again.

If this is the case, then there seems to be another bug. Not sure if you want me to start a separate ticket or what. But, as soon as I passed the spot in the Elvin research tree when I completed advanced scouts, the looping quests changed and have stopped looping. I declined some of the quests and was getting quests I couldn't possibly complete. (Such as have a level 9 barracks when I am not anywhere near that level in the research tree). I kept declining quests and now it is becoming clear they are not only not looping, but they are way too advanced for the level I am on.

Yes, the quests are different for each research level.

For example: Have a level 9 barracks. I can't complete that. I would have to get through three more levels of the research tree before I can even get to advanced barracks. I am all the way back at the stage just after advanced scouts. I have to get my workshops advanced, then all my manufactories, then upgrade squad sizes and get past the spot of whispering trees, then get to advanced main hall, then finally, I would be at advanced barracks. I would then have to upgrade my barracks 4 times and THEN I would complete that quest.

So basically, I have hit a brick wall with these quests.

What level is your City Hall? I'm currently unlocking advanced residences now, with a City Hall Level 4. I still get 2k gold dailies, and they are all repeating.

All I can think of is your City Hall is a high level and therefore you get higher level quests?

My hall is at level 4. I had all repeating quests until I completed the advanced scouts in the research tree. That is when everything stopped. The quests changed and instead of a new set of repeating quests, nothing has repeated yet. They all get harder and harder. I am scared to decline any more lest I won't have a chance at them at all.

Strange. Perhaps that will be starting for me soon. Maybe after I go through this round of repeatables.

I think you'll eventually hit another round of repeatable however, the 50k coins quest is a repeatable.

Yeah, I just finished a daily, and now I get a new quest I hadn't seen before.

Ok. I finally hit a repeatable! Phew! This was beginning to look bleak.
