Suddenly, the quests have gone back down to a doable level. I had one to gain 300 silk but then I declined it and it went back to upgrade a workshop to level 4.

I guess this round of repeatable quests is just a big jump up from the earlier quests. Going from Gain 2000 coins to Gain 50,000 coins. Ouch! That is a heck of a jump. Some of them aren't doable at first so if you hit those, just decline past them until you get back to quests that you can do. Upgrade a workshop min level 4 seems to be the start of the loop.

All I can think of is your City Hall is a high level and therefore you get higher level quests?

Quest progression is loosely tied to building levels in general. However, it is most obviously involved in research - particularly each upgrade to the scouts. As this throws you into the next research bracket and quest tree (from what I've seen on Beta and here)

If the text is accurate - that upgrading ANY two buildings fulfills the quest, then there's a program bug - I've upgraded more than two various buildings and am also still 0/2. Otherwise, if the quest is actually to upgrade two residences to level 4 (for instance), then the text needs to be updated to reflect the actual requirement to fulfill the quest.

I have just started this game and so far i really like it. however, i can not get past the 'better buildings' it is the same as others have posted. i have upgraded 4 residences and at least 2 other buildings - no change still says 0/2. it is getting really frustrating.

You won't get past it until you upgrade two buildings from level 4 to level 5 or higher. You can decline the quest though if that won't fit into your plans.

An update happened since this post was made. Was it supposed to be fixed? I just built two level 4 houses and it only shows progress as 1/2

Avon, try being online(as in game running) while upgrading from level 3 to level 4. Let me know how it goes.

I did that in the past, and I had no issue. The issue this time came when the buildings completed while I was offline.

So it's intended to not credit you for two completed buildings if you are offline when they complete?

Or am I misunderstanding you?

Avon of Barkdale the quest itself should finish regardless whether you are online or offline. However production will not begin until you log back in. If you are having issues regarding the completion of this quest (meaning that the quest did not complete while you were offline) then please submit a support ticket so that one of the ingame moderators can look into this issue.

I apologize if this has been an inconvenience as we had issues with this particular quest in the prior updates.

It may be late, but donating to other players also adds to your 'gained coins'
