Returning teleported building to city

I teleported three residences into my inventory to make space in my city but now when I try to return them the game will not allow me to - the residence is highlighted as though there is no room in the city. Has anybody else come across this?

When you want to return a residence or workshop back to your city you have to meet the same requirements for that level building. So, having the correct amount of space, coin, supplies and goods. If you are short in one of these areas the game will highlight it in red for you. Click/ tap on the building you want to return and it should tell you what you are missing. Hope this helps you.

You must also have an available "Builder" even tho it does not use it.
