Hello, I just visited one of the players in my fellowship, and their world is covered in SNOW! How do you get snow??

They mentioned that the snow background was separate to the event and triggered based on a date/time. Beta got the snow covering at the same time as live this time. One would assume this will be here for December maybe a little of Jan give or take a day for timezone variations.

Last year it seemed like the snow was around forever. Longer than January perhaps?

I don't think so. You can tell by the angle of the cut in the tail-fin and the shape of the individual scales.
