Stopping Scouts

Is there a way to stop/cancel a scout. I scouted the wrong province and want a do-over!

No, unfortunately they can not be stopped. There are buildings like the coldfire phoenix that pay out when you start a scout. So no recall.

They give you back stuff when you cancel a crafting, cancel a mfg or cancel the upg of a non-guest race building. So why can’t they give you a way to stop a scout and just take back anything they give you? And maybe be give back your coins?

There is also the Tome of Secrets that gives you supplies when you start a scout. That goes back to about the launch of the game, so there has always been something that triggers when a scout begins that prevents the cancelling of a scouting. Oh, plus the slight increase in costs and difficulties of all unscouted provinces that happens as soon as you start a scout.

Yeah, all you can do now is wait it out or use time boosters to complete the wrong one right now and then start the one you meant to.

I've erroneously started many scouts trying to get through neighborly visits as quickly as possible on the app and then the difficulty is set.
