This week's Gems tournament is a good example of the terrain obstacles after terrain obstacles in all provinces that are characteristic of this tourney, if you look before you fight. For autofighters this tourney may be easier than dust since the obstacles can keep the opposing melee units from getting in a first strike, if AF are using range squads, which most use in this tourney. For both AF and MF, reconning before placing the initial lineup is always an advantage.
In comparison, open fields dominate in the dust tourney, which is why it turns out to be more difficult because the opposition, usually Mist Walkers get the first shot.
