Some people remember the day they started playing, some don't.

My suggestion(s) would help ease this small situation, for those who care.
Personally I would love to know how much time I've spent logged in my city.

Not sure how this can be added, somewhere/anywhere.

Another suggestion, having some kind of in game calendar, would be cool.
Having the day/month/year tracked in game, that could be similar to a clock. Morning/night Icon could be cool also.
Other similar things, opinions welcomed ;)

If implemented, this "clock" could track our in game logged time and of course our 1st day.
Some coding required indeed. But again, I got no idea how hard it would be, and even if there would be enough interest.

Added a poll, to see interest. Let the voting begin, woot woot!

-Thanks, James :)

My only real choice is to not vote, which means I won't get counted. To make the poll fair you'd need some kind of "none of the above". While I don't really care either way, I think that dedicating programming time to it takes away from things I do care about. If there were a calendar that actually had some effect on my game, that would be different. I might even vote for something that lets me pop-up a calendar that shows upcoming tournaments and events, plus, for instance, in-game holidays when I have an opportunity to earn a few diamonds.

I know exactly when I started, and can check it any time I want by searching for "Get your 50 diamonds now" in my email. That might not be an option for people who joined directly with Facebook.

You can contact in-game support and they will tell you your start date. Also, agree with Ashrem that a calendar for upcoming tournaments, events, adventures would be of benefit, but it's way down on my list of what I'd like to see them spend time on first. For that, my vote would be improvements to the FA, a brilliant idea gone horribly wrong.

Those sure are good ideas!

@Ashrem I get that it would take time to implement. But we don't know what is currently being worked on. Giving out more ideas... to me isn't a negative but a positive.
You never know, it might even be a "light bulb" to devs. and help them add something ingenious, that has zero to do with this :D

I get your point though, I also would like other things before this, for sure.

One of my favorite games for a while was one in which the players got to see some of what was being considered so that we could comment and point out which we felt would be better prioritized. They still kept lots of secrets, for the wow/surprise factor, but on some of the basic mechanical stuff, we could help by saying "that isn't practical" or "we really don't care about those" or "this one is much more important than you think to players."

All idea are worth sharing. Player responses are only player responses. Sometimes they have valuable information, sometimes they're just sour grapes.

Sorry to get off topic here, but your "brilliant idea gone horribly wrong" is such a perfect description. It had so much promise in the beginning and I was genuinely excited by the initial announcement and teaser of the map. It's amazing how such an interesting concept can get so messed up, and now tinkered with to be even worse.

The game calendar would be very nice. I would really like an in-game clock and date. This game is very international, and members of my Fellowship are in many different time zones. Instead of posting "New event starts at midnight CET, it would be very handy to just post the game time & date.

I agree there are other things of a greater Priority than adding new content. Fix what isn't working as it should before we see more and new items

As a new player, I haven't come across anything really broken in the game. What elements of the game do you think need fixing?

The problem with not adding features until everything is fixed, is that game then becomes static. Nothing will ever change because not everything will ever be fixed to the satisfaction of everyone playing.

Me too

I like this thought. I'm not always the best at planning ahead, but I DO like knowing what's coming.

You can contact in-game support and they will tell you your start date.

I always forget about that. I know I started playing before I joined to forum, but not much before. I just use my join date here as my playing reference.

There's a reason casinos don't have clocks in them.

I do NOT need a timer telling me how much time I waste playing this game. I already know it's a lot.

I would point out that I know when I joined the Forums (it's right there by my avatar) and since I joined the forums two days after I started playing... :D

Lets see what needs fixing; Constant crashing both in Flash version and H5 version, Royal Restorations spells, FA's, Events that use double random prize sets that can exclude you for getting the prizes, Single random I can deal with, Fixing chat/messaging so Mobile and PC players can communicate equally, Getting the dead cities gone for good and getting players that are on the edge of the map a chance to relocate

And these are just my issues, and I am sure there are more.

I know new "STUFF" brings life to a game, but if there are 100 developer hours available to do "things" I think the game would be better suited by fixing some longstanding items rather than adding a clock or calendar that gives me no benefit.

Of course this is just my opinion but the poll does not allow me any other way to express it but like this, so disagree by voting for an option above.

Mykan - - just want you to know I feel I'm in the presence of royalty & I THANK YOU for your Guide. It seems everytime I have a question or look something up about this game, more often than not, something refers to the Mykan Guide. I've only been in Elvenar since about March of last year & some things just weren't explained by the DEV's as good as they should/could have been. So your Guide has really been a God-send.

Thank you very kindly for it & your support.

I think many of us have used a @Mykan Guide at one point or another. I have the guide to guest races bookmarked and refer to it often.
