I also prefer the corner simply because that Main Hall gets so darn HUGE and you can't see the buildings behind it anymore. It does make for some fun rounds of "find the Builder," though.

Here's one of my neighbors who has their MH in an interesting place. It's a little hard to see due the the foliage, but the there are 4 road connections to the Main Hall. I like to try and keep that to 2, if possible, and really do a fancy jig when I can get it to 1.

A corner is good, but not best.

Ah, lovely! That's what I love about this forum, the chance to learn new things about a game that I feel I have a pretty good grasp of. That is a good use of space since AWs so kindly never change shape or size. May have to try something like that on the next major overhaul.
