Thanks for this! Are all of the rewards known? Whats the best cult/pop item on a per-square basis? If its only the ones that are listed, I imagine its the "Phoenix Cult", since, well, there's not a whole lot to choose from lol...
Not sure yet if there will be new buildings but Soggy and I will definitely be adding them when we know. For now, you can refer to this link for a list of culture efficiency per square. I have yet to add Sorcerers and Dragons, sorry, a bit low on my priority list now due to RL.

"Traveling Merchant" - all of them are just a joke, pass;

My beta city is only in chapter 2, cant make tier 2 yet, but I won both traveling merchant 2 and 3.. The tier 2 and 3 have helped me so much in the past day or two, to have something to put in the trader to gain tier 1 to build and upgrade....
They might be awful for a higher developed player but to a new player they are great

I suspect it's not so much how developed the player is, as how good their trade routes are. For anyone who finds it easy to trade, they're probably not worth it. For someone who is not in a large and active FS and/or rarely has much in their trade window, it will be very handy.

Also, the closer you get to +700% boost the less you'd want a travelling merchant.
If you look at them as a temporary building for early chapter players they might actually be pretty good--as long as the players know that they will outgrow them and later need to focus on a boosted only build to remain efficient.

Which link? I have looked at the tinyurl.com spreadsheet, the list of event prizes and the Spanish page. None of them has the breakdown per square that I could find. Did I miss something? (I would not be surprised if I have.)

The EVENTS and CULTURE tabs in http://tinyurl.com/grmbecy contain the list of event prizes and cultural buildings with the culture efficiency per square.

Do we know what time it will start?

These quests will now make me quit playing. WHY!! change, oh yeah! to accommodate the ones spending $1000's of dollars for diamonds, these quest don't help me 1 bit.
And what the heck is 4 tier boosted I only have 1, 2 and 3 tier boosted

I actually look at these the opposite.
It is an opportunity for people who do NOT buy diamonds to get a boost in the game.

But I think it would be very easy for the devs to accomadate players who do not like events, or tournys.
Just stop making them required.
Allow players to just not participate.
Oh wait.
Sorry.
I just got a message from Inno central command that no one is required to play the special events in order to continue in the game.
My fault.
Not sure what the answer is then.

Doesn't matter if you start a production early as long as you remember not to click them.
My problem with the Winter Quest for sanity was judging scouts right.
I always note how long my last scout took and add 30-60min to the next one. And, yes, for quest purposes, it doesn't matter when you started a production but if the time gap is big enough, I could have earned at least 777 marble if the time span is at least 3 hours. All the little things add up in my book.

Most of this is copied over from Beta, (special thanks to Jasper, Dony, Crazywizard, and the rest of the Beta gang)
I have added my "walkthrough" so you will be able to prepare for each quest before they come up.
As it is now, the first 70 quests are known, and it looks like you need at least
  • 10 tier 1 boosted
  • 12 workshops
to start. Around quest #50 you will need
  • 14 Tier 1 boosted
  • 8 workshops(more would be better of course)
One big change from previous events is that the "scout a province" also has the option to "upgrade a building to level 12+" instead, so if you have just unlocked a tech, you might want to hold off on upgrading until then.

I'll be posting the list here, and updating it, I'll also do the online googlesheet so you can make a copy and edit as you go.

Prep List (before the event starts)
Start 2 PoP spells, only collect them when a quest asks for it,
and always queue another one.
set 4 tier 1 boosted to 3h for #20
set 3 tier 1 boosted to 9h for #21
set 2 tier 1 boosted to 1 day for #22
set 1 tier 1 boosted to 2 day for #31
train 60 troops for #19
set 3 workshops to groceries (9h)
set 5 workshops to bread (1h)
set 1 workshops to beverages (5min)
set 2 workshops to simple tools (15min)
set 1 workshop to toolbox (1 day)
