Better then nothing for sure. - Tho if they opened up the donation window in the MA so we can actually access it more often... then it would be a pretty nice OR option.

Tho is it a little scary, and maybe sad, that iv had to complain about this for so damn long that random ppl in the fourms are remembering me by name for it... :/

I've seen you mention this a few times, and I whole heartedly agree. Being able to access the donation window in the Cauldron all the time would be wonderful and I'd definitely use it a lot more.

The two things I dislike about merge events

1) Too much clicking or dragging of the mouse
2) A large number of variables are not disclosed in the event (such as the probabilities for generating different tiers of shapes)

Agreed. Since im a fighter, the best time to use the cauldron system for military boost is right at the end of the time frame. So i usually only have about an hour a week.. some times minutes a week... where the donation window is even accessible.
Thats not only inherently flawed, but then they add quests on top of it... and Daily quests for it as well... /facepalm

It is. Mouse over each cup and it shows you the percent chance for each piece for level 1-5.
but your results are still basically random. the dispatching of "parts" to merge destroys your ability to actually strategize and pick the best "recipe" (or whatever they're calling it for the event) to win the prize. at least in guess-a-chest you start with 21 currency and that's what you're betting. merge games are spend 400 currency just to have a small chance at the prize.

I've only played one merge event, Mama Juul, but I distinctly remember feeling like the chances of actually winning the daily prize was low. I tried really hard to make recipes that had a high %chance of gettting the daily but the number of times I could try for just that gamble was much lower than the chest-type. I could choose the chests many more times to attempt to get the daily prize. The merge events require a higher cost of ingredients to access the higher %chance recipes which makes sense, but I run out of base ingredients faster. I don't have stats, just my overall sense compared to the ease of getting one or two of the daily prizes I want in other game types.
Also, it take much longer for the opportunity to gamble on a prize. My time is valuable and limited when I play Elvenar, so I prefer the quick chest choice game.

That is not the case at all, and I asked beforehand. Due to the time differences "our" announcement is about 5 hours away.

"But wait, what about the forums?
Don't worry, the forums will still be available for a while, even if we are gradually shifting our focus to the Discord server. In the long term, we plan to fully transition to Discord, but for at least the upcoming months the forums will remain open and accessible."

I wish it were not so, but this seems a pretty clear statement that the Forums are going away after a few months.
