No manual fight option

I have a chapter one city and it only gives me the one fight button, just like @Ari the Green mentioned, only I'm on PC. When I hit the fight button it auto-fights with no option to manually fight. Perhaps it to simplify it for beginners?

I was wondering that too, but I've not yet completed Ch. 1 in any city. Most advanced of my cities is upto upgrading the main hall research, the city I tested the fighting on (and can manual fight) hasn't even got the first resource upgrade tech



Edit: and now reading the rest of the thread I see the issues been resolved. Oops :D
