@Darielle did you start counting only after you hit the pit?
If 25 people make 5 badges per day for 6 days they will make a total of 750 AR badges.
It takes 170 to fill all stages.
750-170=580 pit badges
Each pit round takes 5 badges.
580÷5= 116 pit rounds
Each pit round is worth 300 points
116×300=34,800 points from the pit
27k points from the map plus 34,800 points from the pit= 61.8k total score.
My math does not seem off. Not horribly so.
@SoggyShorts help?
First of all, it takes 178 arcanes to fill all three stages, not 170. I know that's not a big difference, but let's be accurate here.
Second, it is literally impossible for all 25 members to make 5 badges per day for 6 days in a row consistently. That would mean an average of 90-150 ccs per person not to mention a ton of spell frags, and there's no way that someone with 25,000 or 35000 points can stockpile 90-120 ccs and that many spell fragments, with a lower level MA that takes 20 hours to make a CC. Even if they save the ones they get in the spire, that's just too much to ask of a newer player and we can't, as a fellowship, assume that everyone across the board should do exactly the same amount. It's unfair.
Therefore, that "five per day" means an average of five per day, with the low level players making perhaps one or two or three per day. The upper level members must run their MAs 24/7 to make up the slack in order to get that score. They must take probably four of the five recipes every rotation. Since each one will cost between 3 hours and 5 hours on average to make, that means that they must use at least 12 hours worth of time instants every rotation (or more), or maybe 48-50 hours' worth of time instants per day, in addition to the 40 or 50 combined catalysts per day. By the end of six days, a higher level player has contributed maybe 300 hours worth of time instants and up to 300 combined catalysts, all on ONE type of badge. There is not a single other badge in this entire event that takes that many resources from players. Everything else is doable without a severe burden on the higher level players who make up the slack on this particular badge.
I challenge anyone here with a score of 50K or less to make fifteen arcanes during the last 3 days of the event, and then tell me it was easy. It can't happen, so Inno puts the burden on the higher level players, while some newer players ridicule them for pointing out this burden and hoping Inno will address it. They don't see a problem with it because they don't actually try to consistently make this "average five" arcanes per day. If they did, maybe they'd join us in pointing out the inequity.
It reminds me of my ex, when I was working as a waitress and my feet were killing me at night to where I didn't want to stand up or do anything. He would say, "I worked too today, and I'm not complaining." Yeah, he worked sitting at a desk, so of course he didn't understand. I said he was my ex, lol.
