Bellspire/Lighthouse Chages

What was the reason for the change? I was up to 217 goods collected per visit, and I did spend the hour and half or so to build up my stores visiting the neighbors. I am not sure how many neighbors I visit, but I have completed 312 provinces, plus my fellowship.

What were they aiming for and did they hit it? I have a lot of KP invested in my level 8 bell spire, and over half way to level 9.

2184 per chest now.
I counted 194 people I visit.

194 x 217 = 42098
2184 x 3 = 6552

The best guess is that with the upcoming changes to how visits work the LH/BS would become significantly better than the rest making it a "must have" wonder in later chapters.
From what I hear, doing your visits on the mobile app is at least 10x faster.
The biggest issue is that the mobile app is still in Beta in the UK, and the changes to visits on the live browser version could be months away. If they had nerfed the LH/BH the same day, or even when a solid release date was known, then there would have been some balance to the change.

Even assuming that is the reason, the problem is still that the nerf went too far. Now the Mt.Hall is (in most cases) significantly better to level up instead, and requires zero effort. I'm all for a having a balanced game, but inno rarely balances upwards, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Mt.Hall gets hit by the nerf hammer next.

From what I hear, doing your visits on the mobile app is at least 10x faster.

This game doesn't work on my cell. So, moble app angle isn't going to work for me.

How inane and lost in space.... Let me try to understand WHY my lvl 6 lighthouse, formerly giving me 165 boosted goods from ALL who I visit[ed]....down to NOTHING ZERO goods from ALL visits!! What's the point, Inno??? Take away what we 'earned' in the game...... through playing and spending to have these BOOSTS...only to see NOTHING but game coin accumulated. Essentially NO Boosted goods come from ANY visit.... it was formerly 165 boosted items per visit!!! Why is something that we earned and payed for [in my case? The Lighthouse, lvl 6, suddenly 'lose' the benefits of having again gotten it, expecting values we attained??? This is both nonsensical and an insult. Please fix.

OK, pay CLOSE attention to the Dialogue...... They wanted to BALANCE OUT THE GAME??? Whaaaaaaaaaat????? So in other words... if you work HARDER for better items in the game, your work doesn't factor in? Are you friggin' kidding me???!!!! sounds more like abject Socialism in an Online Game.... Wrong to the Core to do this!!! Seriously, it's beyond UNFAIR to those of us who worked to attain A LOT of neighbors! What a slap in the face with NO logical explanation!! How does a DEV decide to GO BACK ON PROMISED goods doing as we ALL were told 'they would provide'!?????! So a consortium decides to GO AGAINST the work done by players, to balance 'the slate'??? When people get tired of repetitive ranting, they start to tune out what a person is saying. For the most part, your recent posts have been difficult to understand and lacking coherent content, with punctuation absences that make them tough to follow. I can't remember the last time you made a post that didn't use all-caps for at least a few words that didn't actually seem to benefit from any sort of emphasis. One of the biggest problems with your assertion is that Soggyshorts doesn't like the changes either. For that matter, there aren't a lot of people defending the changes, and they are not the ones complaining about your posts. I don't like the changes, and I think your posts are, for the most part, in a category I mentioned earlier of people throwing maximum pathos into their words in an effort to communicate the terrifyingly-immense affect that the change will have on their ability to go on in life.

It's a change. It's negative for a lot of us. Many of us would like to see the change softened. It's unlikely any of us will end up dead or bankrupt because of it. It doesn't warrant posts involving words like theft and excessive use of all-caps. Especially in a world where hundreds of thousands of humans are scrambling for clean water and to avoid being killed by soldiers because their last name is wrong or they worship the wrong myth.

I think virtually everyone here agrees the changes are not good, though I would hardly call the building completely worthless as it does still offer goods for next to no effort whatsoever and the extended help durations. But with that said, I would probably not be devoting space for this AW unless it was already upgraded. I say keep your level 6, but if you haven't built one already, skip it and build something else instead.

The Crying Lighthouse and the Bull.. um, Spire might still undergo changes to improve them, so I wouldn't tear them down just yet, but that might be wishful thinking on my part.

Another unpleasant thing about the change is, that before I was getting a random good per visit. It averaged out on getting more T3 than others. Now we have 3 tries and gods of randomness don't bother with small numbers. Last night all I got was T1 in all chests, today T1x2, T2x1. Travesty. I'll wait to see if Inno improves something, if not- bye bye Lighthouse.

I'd never attempt to psychoanalyze anyone. I'm simply making an observation that the world isn't going to end, so the tenor of your posts is excessive. If a forum moderator locks the thread because of repeated violations, it isn't going to help get the point across that we think the changes are excessive and should be reconsidered.
