I'm an FA mage for our fellowship. We finished 2nd in the previous two FA. In this one we will likely finish 3rd or 4th because we are short a couple of players. We are not an FA specialist fellowship but until now most of us have enjoyed them.
We all know that the FA rewards are meagre, but in past FAs at least you weren't wasting resources. I mean that you might be using time boosters or enchantments to complete badges or boost production, but you at least had something to show for it - such as more goods, catalysts, troops, etc.
But when you have to effectively throw away coins at the wholesaler, I really question the value of doing future FAs. At the end of this one, I will be congratulating the team because they have really risen to the challenge with almost no complaint. But I will be recommending that we do not do any further FAs unless there is a reversal of the changes made to the Coin and Bracelet badges, or to the map requirements for them.
I would think that FAs do make money for Inno. In my case, I would not be buying extra badges with diamonds, but in this FA and the last, I found that I did use diamonds to buy more Magic Residences so as to reduce the number of conventional Residences and so provide more room for the temporary buildings. It is really not in Inno's monetary interest to reduce participation in the FA.
These secretive and unfair changes, whether a mistake or not, lower player allegiance to the game, especially when there was no effort made mitigate the problems - such as providing free coin instants to everyone as someone mentioned earlier, if it was somehow impractical to reverse the changes.
