Chapter 2-3 cities are still, hands down, the best bracelet makers in the game.
and most of them just got migrated to CH5
Brin, You did not lose any troops the same number you had before is still there, just in larger Squads sizes
and Astram, whether or not its 75 or 275 SS, the difficulty
remains the same, all that changes is how many squads you
are losing. So if you're losing 20 squads per week, replacing
them is either 1500 or 5500, therefore if you currently make
1700/week , you're losing bigtime rather than gaining slowly
your troop reserves. Increasing barracks/ect/ect in levels, only
speeds up training, not extending the cue. For that more
armories are the fix, but that costs pop/culture/tiles, without
adding Land, you can't do that. In this example, if a player went
from 300 squads to 100 squads, then in aprox 6-7 weeks, that
player will run outta troops without doing something. Before
in 6-7 weeks, they might be up to 350 squads. ( of that type )
This is why Astram, the 1 thing that should never count against
a player in any way, is more Land.... especially since premium
expansions are a revenue stream. As a non-player you don't run
up against this issue, day in and day out.
My city made 120% of both troops and resources, per week, to
replace what I'm spending, now it makes about 75% resources
and 40% troops. Yes thru upgrading ALL event bldgs, doing a
re-org, and adding a few more manufacturing bldgs, I might be
able to add back in 20% more of both, that still leaves me at
95% and 60% respectfully.
But this game is about nuance, intricacy, complexity and cause-and-effect decision-making.
So Astram, when decisions made early on, to set up a city
for a specific goal, are then arbitrarrily reversed later on......
it can reak havvok on a city. When you add in unintended
consequences, big changes usually come with big headaches.
Lets face it, the coding team still can't fix a simple overflow error,
linked to residence collection..... after 2 years..... yes 2 years...
I have lost any confidence in them, catching all the unintended
consequences they created by some of thier bonehead chgs
( my opinion ) in the last ohh 2 years.....
If you build a good foundation, your house will be stable....
have someone magically chg that foundation , After, the
house is built, and all bets are off....
